What is NET
To determine the eligibility of the Candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for determine the eligibility for recruitment of lecture in Universities and College in the subject from Humanities (including languages), Social Sciences & other by the University Grant Commission and for JRF & lectureship in the Science ( Physical, Biological and Applied) subjects by the CSIR ( Council of scientific and industrial research and UGC, National level test is conducted twice a year in the months of June and December .Every year the notification for the examination is published in the month of March & September in Employment News/Rojgar Samachar and other Newspaper.
